It’s still raining today. I drive to Suances and have a look around. It is a bigger town than I was expecting. The beaches are quite big and would be a nice area in summer.
I drive towards San Vincente de la Barquera, via Comillas, taking the coast road. I find the other beaches on the coast road. I park up in the free camping car park at San Vincente de la Barquera.
The surf is big today, but the weather is not so good. Hopefully the doctor will say it is OK to remove my dressing on Monday and I can get back in the sea. I am keen to move on to head south for some better weather.
