Madrid day 1 – sightseeing, Spain

Steve and I park up our vans and catch the metro into Madrid. We are both excited. We walk to the hostel. We get given a room which is better than the one we saw. It is €30 per night, and has two windows with great views. We get settled and head out for a wander. We stop for coffee and take in the sights and sounds.

In the evening we head out for beers.

In the evening we head out for beers. We stop at a few different bars, which are busy as it is a public holiday. We chat to a couple of girls from Australia, and then head back to the hotel, but not before stopping for a kebab on the way.
