Carpetting finished

Here is the van with most of the carpetting completed. There are some little bits to do like above the side door and at the back, but I have the whole of July and August off, without having to do any work, so there is plenty of time for those bits.

I am very pleased with the result. The colours look good and completely change the look and feel of the inside.

I am very pleased with the result. The colours look good and completely change the look and feel of the inside. It feels very soft and comfortable now. It’s a shame the ceiling had to be done in three bits. It really was the only way, but I have filled the gaps by cutting off single strands and filling the gaps.

A close up of the carpetting finish. I decided to leave the original van lights exposed. They are usefull, work off the rear door switched, and will be left on the engine battery, and used when the lesuire battery is flat.

Carpeted ceiling

A much cleaner cab. Painted bulkhead, carpet and a good sound system.
