Campsite day, doing van jobs, Porto, Portugal

We spend the day doing various jobs on the van in the campsite near Porto.

It’s an OK campsite. It’s got what we need, the people are friendly, it’s very quiet and cheap (€10 per night).

We do our long overdue laundry, various cleaning and carpeting jobs on the van.

We take a bike ride up to the local Pingo Doce supermarket and grab a few items.

We are still recovering from saddle soreness from our ride the other day.

I have an amusing chat with the old guy who checking us in the night before. I wanted to know if we could have a BBQ next to our van. I could see they had a public BBQ area.
The lovely guy speaks no English and my Portuguese is minimal. He initially thinks I am trying to buy meat, but eventually I get my answer. No, only in the BBQ area.

We had intended to visit the city tomorrow, but we have decided to spend another day doing various jobs on the van tomorrow, as it felt so good to get then out of the way today.

We’ll visit Porto the day after.
