Got up early as mark was at work at 9am. We were both boiling hot in the night, and could hear the wind. Mark was a little worried about putting the top down on the “pop top thing” in case the wind caught under it, but it was ok. No time for breakfast and off before we had to get a ticket for the car park!

On the whole I am becoming addicted to life in our camper. Rider completely loves it and every time he hears a diesel engine he says “that noise is the noise of our holidays”. It is a chance for me and mark to get away from everything and spend quality time as a family without the distraction of television etc and it is so cheap you can do it every weekend. I have already today asked my mam if she will make me some new curtains for “sully” as I have been inspired by the lovely camper I saw at Sandsend.

Me and Rider are away on a coach trip to Wales next weekend with my Grandad so Marks is going to fit some new cupboards then we will be going away again in our camper the weekend after. I have some ideas already where we can free camp. There is a lovely place called “Cod Beck” near Osmotherly with a little car park so we might go there. You can walk round the beck through a wood it is a really lovely place. I’ll write what it’s like if we go.
