Well the new curtains have been put up tonight (8/9/09) and they are really thick and warm, they are fleece with flowers on them. I used all my birthday money to buy the material and my mum made them for me. The back window where the 2 back doors are had only one curtain which you pulled right across as there is a cupboard on the other side, but my mum made two as she didn’t realise even tho I had written down that the only window with 2 curtains was the front. I was a bit upset and had a little sniffle to myself as it spoilt the look a little but they still look much better than the green thin ones that were in.
We have decided to go back to sandsend on Friday just for the night as we have a wedding to attend on Sat night, I cant wait to get back in the camper. We are going to try out the new sleeping arrangement. Mark has made a little extender for the end of the bed on his side as his feet stuck over the edge due to the fact that Rider sleeps at the top of the bed horizontal to us. I hope it works out ok.
I have ordered some solar powered fairy lights from amazon to go in it as well so I hope they arrive in time. They are battery powered as well so should last a while even if it is overcast.
