Praia do Amado

I wave up at 08:30, even though I went to bed really late, and I don’t feel tired. I haven’t been sleeping so well recently and wonder if I have too much sleep accrued? The weather is not so good today. I notice several vans in the car park that I have seen before.

I get chatting to my neighbour, Flo (Florian) from Munich. I saw him in Peniche. He has a van like mine, but the older model.

I get chatting to my neighbour, Flo (Florian) from Munich. I saw him in Peniche. He has a van like mine, but the older model. The layout is excellent, but the van a little worn. Even though, I am envious of the layout. But mine has just as many advantages, and given the chance to build a van again, I wouldn’t know which to commit too. Maybe a combination of both?

I don’t surf, as the waves are powerful and the weather bad. Tom and Florian do though. I spend time drinking tea and coffee with Florian, and chatting with a few other people. Tomorrow I think I will drive to the town of Lagos, on the south coast. Big swell is forecast. The waves there will be smaller, and the wind offshore. I am also keen to get to a big town to get some books and an internet card.

Tom and I swap DVDs in the evening. Excellent!
