I take a drive to the Branca beach, which is about 12km away. It is high tide, and there is little beach. It is a national holiday and the beach is busy.

I drive back to Baleal. I get some great waves, on a peak I have to myself, in the middle of the bay. At one point I think I have broken my toe though. I leave the water, barely able to walk on y foot.

I drive back to Baleal. I get some great waves, on a peak I have to myself, in the middle of the bay. At one point I think I have broken my toe though. I leave the water, barely able to walk on y foot. By the evening my toe is much better, obviously it’s not broken. I spend the evening chatting outside with Peter. The weather is mild.
