My “new” camper

Hi, I’ve recently bought a 1986 200 series LDV part conversion. As it isn’t doing much mileage it’s getting a bit hard to start. It’s got new plugs etc and I think the issue is with the fuel. Does anyone have any info regarding converting from the current mechanical fuel pump to an electric one? I understand that this used to be a common conversion.

Also if you have any tips regarding leisure battery charging, extra lights etc I would be eternally grateful. Maybe someone has done this job before? Regards Tony
