Luz and Lagos, Algarve, Portugal

It is yet another great day in the Algarve. I wake at 08:00 to sunny skies. By 10:00 it is 20 degrees. I read for a little while before heading into Lagos to check my emails. The roads are quieter around Lagos at the weekends. I head back to Luz for lunchtime.

In the afternoon I take a walk up to the headland that looks out across the beach. It is not a walk I have done before, and although it is shorter than I was expecting, it was very nice. The views are great. I noticed several nice properties alongside the lane that I walked down. I do not like cold weather, and often think about finding somewhere other than the UK to spend my retirement years, or even maybe before. The Algarve is a great option, and probably my favourite potential retirement location in Europe. There is a beautiful sunset this evening.
