Today is the warmest and sunniest day of the week, just when I thought the winter weather in the Algarve could not get better, it does! In the morning I read a little whilst sunbathing on the beach at Luz. Craig and I take a little look at the market stalls, but there is little variation, with the stalls selling mainly hats and bags, targeted at tourists. I have a lovely Singapore stir-fry for lunch. In the afternoon I finish my book on the beach, Hannibal Rising, which is excellent.
Today has been a lovely day of reflection for me. I am enjoying being here very much. The last few years have seen me work too hard, and then focus on saving for several years of travel. After this trip I intend to travel to many locations, many South America and south east Asia. I sit and think about these last few years, the family and friends I miss, and what the next few years will bring for me.
I do a little yoga on the beach. I have a painful muscle in my arm, and have not been surfing or swimming for several days now, whilst resting my arm. Several people are surfing the reef at Luz today. I spend the rest of the afternoon writing and working on the many websites I maintain.
