    Didnt think about that!
    Hi

Thanks so much for the reply. I was wanting a campsite and my other half wanted to wild camp. This is a perfect compromise and being newbies, we didnt know you could stay at the services. Problem solved…great advice. Thank you :-))))

    Hi

Keeping this brief to see if it gets accepted. Leisure battery-dont understand! Appears to be wired up to main battery, switcj on dash board with on off switch and digital display next to it. Mini consumer unit in the back of the van next to a small battery charger??? which has a low/high button and a needle showing low to high. Everything works on hook up, but when not hooked up, all ive got so far is the strip lights all flashing at one second intervals….any advice for a beginner most welcome!!

    Leisure Battery
    HI Darren,

Im trying again and hoping this gets sent…

Im a complete novice on leisure batteries. My van has a leisure battery, which seems to be wired up to the main battery. On the dash board is a lever saying on or off and next to that, a digital display-seems to display voltage and something else if you press the button next to it.
In the back is a minor version of my consumer unit at home and next to it, a small red battery charger. Ive managed to work everything in the van off hook up without problem, but when not hooked up, the strip lights just flashed at roughly once per second and the other lights didnt work. Any advice gratefully received!!

    Thanks so much
