I’m insured through Adrian
I’m insured through Adrian Flux, give em a call on the phone, that way you’ll get the full lowdown.March 13, 2013 at 7:14 am #119340DarrenKeymasterNo, side window means side
No, side window means side window. If your van doesn’t have side windows I think you will struggle to get it insured as a campervan. You might have to get it insured as a van, which might leave you uninsured.
Speak to the insurance companies and find out what cover you can get.
Cost will be £300+, depending on your age, no claims, history, etcMarch 13, 2013 at 7:14 am #119342DarrenKeymasterNo, side window means side

Probably about £150+, depending on the window.
To insure as a campervan most insurance companies require you to have a side window, double bed, dining table, water tanks. And sometimes a few things more.March 13, 2013 at 9:56 am #119354DarrenKeymasterProbably about £150+,

Can the window be in any side or does it have to be near the cooker ? The vanette does have the sliding door on the opposite side of the cooker.March 13, 2013 at 10:49 am #119361grumpsParticipantCan the window be in any side

You can have a window anywhere in the van. Near the cooker makes sense.
If you are having the window fitted to satisfy insurance requirements, it’s worth checking with the insurance company.
I prefer windows by the cooker or in the sliding door. Fitting a window to a sliding door is by far the easier option.March 13, 2013 at 10:51 am #119366DarrenKeymasterYou can have a window
