    No, side window means side
    No, side window means side window. If your van doesn’t have side windows I think you will struggle to get it insured as a campervan. You might have to get it insured as a van, which might leave you uninsured.
    Speak to the insurance companies and find out what cover you can get.
    Cost will be £300+, depending on your age, no claims, history, etc

    Probably about £150+,
    Probably about £150+, depending on the window.
    To insure as a campervan most insurance companies require you to have a side window, double bed, dining table, water tanks. And sometimes a few things more.

    Can the window be in any side
    Can the window be in any side or does it have to be near the cooker ? The vanette does have the sliding door on the opposite side of the cooker.

    You can have a window anywhere in the van. Near the cooker makes sense.
    If you are having the window fitted to satisfy insurance requirements, it’s worth checking with the insurance company.
    I prefer windows by the cooker or in the sliding door. Fitting a window to a sliding door is by far the easier option.
