HiYou typically don’t need safety certificates.
The different insurance companies typically ask fo different things. Some ask for photos. Mine asked a simple report to be filled out by an expert. They had to record if it had a bed, water tanks, etc. And a value for the vehicle.I would suggest contacting http://www.campton.co.uk, Insurance Choice, Shield and Adrian Flux. You can find the details in the right-hand sidebar adverts –>

You need to insure it as a campervan. Normal insurance companies won’t insure it as a van. The companies I suggested are campervan specialists. It typically doesn’t cost more to insurance a campervan, and is often less than a van to insure.March 12, 2013 at 2:02 pm #119324Darren
