El Palmar, Andalucía, Spain

It is a very warm day. In the morning Steve and I head in for a surf. The waves are very small and choppy, but we have a good time, catching several each.

I take a bike ride and do some rust repair jobs to the van. In the evening we go to the local bar. We meet Heather, a friend of Simons who we met earlier in the day. She and I chat for quite a while.

I think she is keen on me, and Steve thinks she is also. She said she was hoping to go surfing on Tuesday morning, so if she appears I will say hello.

We have spent the last week here in El Palmar waiting for the surf to arrive. The surf forecast says the surf is coming tomorrow. Steve is likely to head off in a few days. I will head to Malaga in a couple of weeks.
