A walk along the seafront in Luz, The Algarve, Portugal

It is a beautiful warm morning in Luz. I take a long walk along the seafront in Luz, past the motorhomes where I have stayed before. I walked further than I had intended. I see many lovely properties, casually looking over the sea. There are quite a lot of not so impressive apartment blocks, which of course strike the balance. You never know, I might live in one of those apartments one day.

The weather is great, just like summer in Cornwall. Many of the restaurants, cafes and bars that have been closed are now open. There are also more people around, especially British people. This suggests that the early season has started. I like the little hum of activity.

I get back to a very warm van, and think about what to do with the day. The wave in Luz is too small to surf, maybe I will try somewhere else. I am keen to rest my shoulder still.
