It’s a windy day. I drive to Conil and do some jobs. I look for shoes, eventually buying a pair of trainers for €12 from the market, which I stumble upon really.
Simon and I have a surf after lunch. The waves are not good but we get a few each, making it worth the effort. I see Thomas on the beach and say hello. Later I chat with Thomas and Simon. Thomas invites me to a BBQ which he is having at his apartment in Chiclana. He says Heather is going, and I casually decide to go.
Simon drives us to the BBQ. We meet with Pedro and Vicky at a bar first. Another friend of Thomas’ comes over, and later Heather. We all get along really well, and have a great fish BBQ. Heather and I get along really well. Simon drove us home at 1am or thereabouts.
