Overhead kitchen cupboard

I wanted to add maximum storage and use any potential space. I decided on an overhead cupboard for the kitchen.

I made the frame, using L shaped brackets for extra strength (thanks for the tip Trev). The far end has an upright missing to fit around the sliding door aperture.

I added a 6mm bottom and ends.

I added a 6mm bottom and ends. The doors are 9mm and I had to cut down the screws and glue on the catch parts as before. These doors latch very well and should not open when driving.

This cupboard eventually got varnished heavily to prevent steam from cooking damaging the wood.
