These are the original seats from the van. Sure proof, if any were needed, that caravan upholstery designers in the eighties took acid. I cut the back one down and glued the fabric together with carpet adhesive. It seems to work. The bookshelf was placed temporarily and yes, I know the bar across the front is wonky at the moment. I made the shelf slightly triangular in order to accomodate both large and small books. It’s also positioned at a height that just pinches the back in place. Incidently, that can of Evostik spray adhesive was ok for the seat cushion but was pants when it came to holding the carpet on the ceiling and walls. Best use some dedicated carpet adhesive.
