Drawer fronts fitted and locks added. I made all three from one piece of veneered mdf and routered the edges before applying iron-on edging. A bit fiddly but worth the effort. The locks were fashioned from indicator bolts (like the ones you see on some public loos). I took them to bits and used the bolt bit to secure the drawer on the inside, I drilled a slot in the front of the drawer and fixed the threaded rod part of the ‘handle’ through and into the bolt. I kept it loose (i.e., not glued) in the sliding bolt to allow for the drawer to be doubly locked by tightening the handle bit when the bolt is pushed across. The handles came out of the caravan but previously were used in a Biblical boat by the look of them.
