Thank God this is on the roof. Looks like it’s had a fair beating from the elements. It was a pain to ease it off the caravan roof. Not too bad to cut the hole in the van roof as it’s fibreglass but when I fitted it and tried to open it the hinges broke. Bugger. Those two horizontal white bits on the left of the picture are what’s holding it together. They are two screws fixed to the vent body and covered in mains lead sheathing to prevent rubbing. As I said thank God it’s on the roof. Don’t tell anyone, ok? I’ll replace it when somebody gives me some work..
