I took off the old step and bought this tow-ball type from a guy on ebay. It was pretty well twisted when I got it and it took alot of heat and a big hammer to sort it out. I painted it with smooth black Hammerite and Hey Presto! Easy enough to connect it up (I also got a new socket which came with instructions).
