i bought a iveco daily van 2004 reg and converted it into a 5 berth camper van i’d never done anything like this before but have a background in the building industry that i think has helped. The van was ply lined when i got it which i think was a help the pictures show most of the work I found it sraight forward but maybe my background helped. The mistakes i made are the easiest to point out,I needed 6 seats and got the rear set from a toyota granvia these seats rotate and hsave lap belts which i thought were great but you need 3 point belts after 2002 so i had to make a frame afterwoods and then make it fit.I bought the wrong size edge trim so had to buy more oversized the cable for the splitter on the electric system which made the cable a nightmare to get in.
I tried my hardest to research the internet and books (yes books i no some won’t no what they are its an old person thing) but i will say that sometimes you can spend to much time looking into things when commen sense can prevail.
