I am still really enjoying the trip. The recent cold spell had me thinking about venturing somewhere else, but today the weather has been great. Hopefully I can get some more surfing in soon, when the waves are smaller.
I have met a lot of great people. I think about journeys that I intend to take in the future, and think it is a shame it is not so easy to travel in ones own vehicle in other parts of the world. But then, backpacking brings its own advantages and disadvantages.
I intend on meeting my friends Al and Tash in Malaga at Easter time, as Tash’s family live there. I am going to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona in May, and am considering going to Ibiza for a few months after that. I have to be careful not to eat into my savings, as these are for other trips. I can always get a contract and save some money if necessary though. I should learn to exercise my options and earning ability.
