Surfer Andy’s VW T5 Conversion

Surfer Andy came to us with his VW T5 looking for a full camper conversion but still wanted enough space to carry his surfboards. Before we started with the conversion we fully insulated, soundproofed, ply lined and carpeted the van and lined the floor with heavy duty waterproof Altro vinyl. Next job was to fit a high quality Cannon’s Forge rock n roll bed complete with seat belts.

Before we started with the conversion we fully insulated, soundproofed, ply lined and carpeted the van and lined the floor with heavy duty waterproof Altro vinyl. Next job was to fit a high quality Cannon’s Forge rock n roll bed complete with seat belts. We then built the cabinets. Andy chose to have them built with lightweight Vohringer plywood in Beech finish throughout.

The conversion also included a Waeco 50 litre fridge, Zig control unit, Smev combi unit with 2 hobs and sink with 12 volt tap, sliding table, blackout curtains all-round, 12 volt spotlights, 12 volt socket, leisure battery, 240 volt mains hookup with double 240 volt socket and enough space to store his surfboards underneath the rock n roll bed!

  1. Captains seat removal or replace
Hi, do you have swivel chairs in the front of your van. Im looking to replace my original 3 seats in the front with 2 captains chairs from a peugeot 806 or fiat ulysses or citreon synergie. I have a dispatch (54). Would you you know what the compatibility is between these vans?
    Any help would be great.
