It’s cool and misty this morning. I head into Vila Nova, to get the address from the post office, as I need a parcel sent over from home. The town is quiet, much quieter than when I visited several months ago. The locals are heavily dressed, trying to keep the cold away. I have a quick look around, but most things are closed.
I head back to Porto Covo. I top up my water from the tap in the main square. I take a quick look around the town. I also search for a WiFi signal, but cannot find one.
I drive out to Sao Torpes. The waves are big, too big to surf. Craig and Fern and there, waiting for the tide to rise. There are a few people fishing at the beach.
