Luz and Lagos, Algarve, Portugal

I take a walk along the beach at Meia Praia. It is a beautiful day. There are some waves there, but there is no one in, which makes me think I am not realising something. I decide to take a drive to Luz.

When I get to the car park at Luz I see Flo and Tom’s van. I park up and take a walk on the beach. I met up with them and have a chat. Tom has just come out, Flo and I decide to go in.

When I get to the car park at Luz I see Flo and Tom’s van. I park up and take a walk on the beach. I met up with them and have a chat. Tom has just come out, Flo and I decide to go in. Flo doesn’t last long, and goes back. The good breaks are crowded and I try a quieter spot, but I don’t do very well. I get out. A NZ girl arrives, and we all decide to go to Meia Praia.

The waves are looking OK at Meia Praia. We take a surf, but I don’t get many waves. Some big sets come through. We have coffee, stop at Lidl and go back to Luz.

Tom met a gut he knows early, whose parents own a British pub (The Duke). We all go up for Sunday lunch. We spend the night in the pub. The Sunday roast is great, and we all enjoy getting away from the vans. We have a night cap.
