Luz and Lagos, Algarve, Portugal

I take a look around Luz in the morning. The town is spread out amongst the many apartments, due to its slow expansion I guess. There are several estate agents, and I take a look in the window of most. There is a studio flat for €50,000 (£35,000). I noticed on a previous day the number of bars and a few nightclubs down by the seafront.

I noticed on a previous day the number of bars and a few nightclubs down by the seafront. The idea of buying a small apartment, and living in Luz, promoting myself as a DJ, or even running my own nights is very appealing. The money I have would be a good platform to try and do this. I should concentrate on my intended travel plans before my money is all gone, and I become distracted again. I have plenty of time in life.

I find the big supermarket. It caters for the ex-pats, especially the British. I buy sausages and maple syrup, amongst other things.

It is cooler today, and the waves inconsistent. I decide to take a drive to Lagos. My gas has run out, and I need to buy some more.

At the Intermache in Luz I buy a Campingaz bottle and regulator. I fit this to the van. I go the car park and work on some websites for a while.

In the evening I return to Luz.
