Lacanau-Ocean

I get up quite early and take a coffee to the beach. The waves are much smaller, and there is an offshore wind, but the waves are a little messy. I decide to wait until later before checking the waves again. I’ll do a few jobs and work on my tan I think.

I have a surf later in the morning. The waves are messy and not so much fun. I catch a few waves and call it a day.

I have a surf later in the morning. The waves are messy and not so much fun. I catch a few waves and call it a day. Later my German friends Phillip and Markus let me they spent 10 minutes in the sea and came back as it was so hard.

I take a walk along the beach and into town. I walk around the shops, but don’t buy anything as I am trying to save my money. I walk to the campsite on the beach and catch a few rays as I watch the few surfers that are out there.

Phillip, Markus and I spend the afternoon drinking in the pamper camper. In the evening we eat pizza at the campsite restaurant which is excellent. We drink more before turning in for the night. It has been raining fairly hard since this afternoon. It is still very warm though.

Tomorrow I will check the surf in the morning. If it is still messy I will drive down the coast. I am interested in trying one of the quieter out of the way beaches. If the surf is good though I will stay here one more night.
