    Leisure battery set up
    Hi Sophia

A leisure battery set up is fairly easy. The simplest way is to get a split charge relay which basically charges up your leisure battery whilst your engine is running. You can purchase these on EBAY for around £18. They are very easy to set up, one wire with an inline fuse runs from the engine battery to the split charge relay and then another wire with an inline fuse runs from the relay to the leisure battery and an earth wire from the relay and one earth wire from the leisure battery. You can also install a Zig unit which is basically an electrics control unit which will also charge up the leisure battery if you are hooked up to a 240 volt mains point at a campsite but this is more complicated and expensive.

    I hope this helps.
