Hi folks,
I was hoping to get a few opinions on the best insulations for my T4, and why.
Obviously I need to consider sound, thermal, resonance, humidity etc, but are there any people out there that have actually used purpose-built materials?
Hope you can help a little.
THank you
Rob.

I’ve used Kingspan/Celotex which is very warm and sound proof. Can be bought cheaply if you shop around/ebay.
I think 25mm is required for most of a T4.I’ve used the bubble wrap stuff as well, which is really easy to use, but not as good as sound proofing. Fine for a summer or day van.

HiWe use double sided foil bubble wrap for thermal insulation and we also have a soundproofing insulation for the soundproofing. We sell the foil rolls and soundproofing insulation rolls on our online shop http://www.westcountrycampervans.co.uk as well as this we also sell an insulation and soundproofing kit which contains enough materials to fully insulate/soundproof a VW T4 size van.
