re your transit lwb hightop
Im drawn to getting a transit , have been looking at the crew cabin/welfare transits that are often on sale online they look to me to be good for converting, I am sure they are ex railtrack ones.So I will be keen to see how you get on converting your transit hope it works out well for you 🙂March 27, 2012 at 11:10 pm #128225colidogParticipantre your transit lwb hightop

Hi there, converting a van is a great idea. Maybe take a look at this free campervan guide from http://www.lovecamperholidays.co.uk – it is mainly about buying but has some tips on things like seatbelt regulations and gas and electrics safety etc I hope it can help :)Maria, Sussex Campers.March 30, 2012 at 9:45 am #128232MariaGuestCampervan guide

Hiya Colidog,I too am new to this whole campervan conversion business and am in the process of asking for advice and researching the subject. I have found a book on Amazon that is really useful, written by an average joe converting a van. I have found it very useful and if you want a good read, look for “Camper Van Conversion” by Colin Grace. I think I splashed out 14 pounds for a paperback copy of it, but I think it was well spent for a newbie like me. You can also get it as an electronic download or on a CD.
Anyway, hope this helps and good luck!
