I have a 27 year old T25 Autosleeper conversion which has carpet glued to the walls and ceiling. Just brushing a hand across it results in lots of dust coming off. I have tried vacuuming it several times but it still sheds dust (more like fine fibres actually). Does anyone know a cure for this? I imagine it is caused by some sort of bacteria or microbe or algae, or possibly just old age.

Reminds me of the sofa in my room. Its from the sixties, the cushion are made from PolyEther and orange/sand-coloured ‘dust’ falls through the lining.
I have seen carpets having a base layer of material that looks like PolyEther. So in your case age /UV influence might be the cause.April 25, 2012 at 1:52 pm #131556NomadParticipantReminds me of the sofa in my
