newbees. looking for a place to chill.

hey everyone, just found this web site whilst trying to find places to wild camp with camper van around the sussex area.
looking for free parking (as always) where you can stay overnight and relax knowing you aren’t going to get hassled.
car parks now have no overnight stay, which is unfair as who else is using/appreciating it other than us eh?

man & dog loves the seafront and yes there is a lot to be said about a sunset and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean, but we also like the countryside/village pub! so we would be most grateful for any suggestions from in and around the sussex area, any where you have camped out and enjoyed.
may be some campsites that you have used? would like to find one you can enjoy a real fire etc, but that isn’t too organised and also accepts the hound.(his holiday too after all)
SOOO not too much of an ask for a newbee eh!
lot’s of asks but i know a lot of us are coming from the same place, trying to find those last gems and enjoy them before they disappear or turn into car parks, with the only alternative being blasted by the campsites music til 2 a.m. and paying £18 for that pleasure…
I’m happy to stay anywhere if it’s legal, the cheaper and more off the beaten path the better, but man not a fan of campsites AT ALL….
so the weirder, the wilder, the cheaper the more undiscovered the better.
Thanks everyone. west sussex hugs. xo.
