Thanks so much, thats really helpful. We’re not fussed about having it fully converted so won’t bother re-classifying. We will mostly go to campsites overnight so can use their shower/toilet etc – this is more a ‘the van is always there ready, lets just jump in it and we’ve got somewhere to sleep’ kind of conversion!

To be honest I’m thinking that the minibus thing is a bad idea. We thought that it would save us putting windows in a van, but I’ve heard a few people report that a) its cold and b) many of the windows get in the way of where you want to put stuff. So its looking like buying a panel van and fitting windows as required could be the plan.
