A few people responded to a post a left on another thread so I thought I’d leave this link to wild camping spots in Spain – http://www.spain-in-a-campervan.com/tag/wild-camping/page/11
The navigation on the site is a little antiquated so at the bottom of each there’s a ‘newer entries’ button. You can also search with ‘wild camp at’.
Hope this is helpful.

Thanks
Hey Catalan Camper,Thanks for the information. I have my tickets booked for Madrid in early August and haven’t yet decided where to stay once we have hooked up with our ‘transport’. Can you suggest any good spots in the region?
