This is a superb, top of the range genuine VW camper. The Westfalia conversion was VW’s own factory-made, purpose designed camper conversion. The T4 was never made with a right-hand drive VW Westfalia factory conversion and this vehicle was imported from Germany in 2005. The base vehicle is a VW Caravelle, unlike most other VW campers which are based on the basic VW Transporter. This means the spec is much higher than on most VW campers – the engine is the more powerful 150bhp version, it includes factory fitted heating and control panel, air conditioning , fitted insulation within the body panels, electric windows, ESP etc and is a top quality vehicle. It has been well looked after, regularly serviced and kept in a garage when not in use since we bought the vehicle in 2005. Bodywork & interior in good condition, although there is a small dent in offside sliding door/wheel arch, and on nearside (see photos).
