Hi I have an lt28 1998 2.4tdi 193k runs like a dream and good mpg however when you first drive the van it smokes like hell (blue / grey) then after about 10 mins of driving it stops smoking?? I have read other items that says its a knackered turbo, erg valve or cat, well it’s had new cat has no power issues so I am at a loss of where to start so any help would be great, can’t afford big garage bill and I don’t mind getting my hands dirty if someone could point me in the right direction.
Many Thanks

Hi CraigI don’t know what that problem is.
Perhaps asking on VW LT forums might get answers from those who know the van well?http://www.vwt4forum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=333
