So, here it is! I have finally finished this full conversion onto the base vehicle of an LDV Convoy. The van took me a fair few months to convert and speed of the process has been down to weather conditions and time between work!
I have tried to use reclaimed materials where possible, some of the appliances were from a donor vehicle which was very well timed. Then some of the wood i have used has been taken from pallets and even drift wood has been used. This gives the van a nice character I think.
The idea I have gone for is to match a high end Motorhome/camper in terms of tech and appliances but do it in a style which is different from the mainstream plastic finish.
All the work has been done myself which includes the paint job… Thanks tohttp://www.club80-90.co.uk/pages/downloads/tech/paintfor%A350.pdf
This really works if you’ve got the patience and the right weather.. Or maybe a big workshop!
Anyhow, I’m going to pop some photos up and a short description. The van is for sale, I’m hoping to sell this one to fund the next! 🙂
