    Hiya,

I’ve recently started converting my ford transit mk7 into a camper van, and it’s time to start thinking about windows!

I have a raised bed in the back (to accommodate bikes underneath) so wanted to put a window in the top section of one (or both) of the back doors.
I’ve never seen this before, and can find little information about it online.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice, or has seen anything like this before.
Or more importantly knows a good reason NOT to try and attempt this.

I’ve added a pic to give a rough example of where I mean.

    Any advice greatly appreciated!

    Best wishes,

    Anna 🙂

    Hi Anna

I think this is a fine idea.
You wont be able to mount the window over the lip, like your design suggests.
The window will need to be mounted to the flat section at the top, or the flat middle section.
