No disrespect to either those that make them or those that sell them but Rock n Roll beds seem to me to be very expensive even without the bedding part so I was wondering whether anyone on here have made their own.If you have I would be interested to know how you did it.
The obvious route for me would be to buy a sofa bed that the wife and I could use in the back of the VWT5 but by what I have seen they are all to wide.
Has anyone managed to adapt one to fit a van on here.
I would be grateful for any advice anyone can offer. Until then I suppose its back to blowing up the lilo.May 15, 2013 at 7:17 pm #117884ofbParticipantRock n Roll beds

You can buy a Rock and Roll bed frame on ebay for £120+. That’s a good price.

Thanks ofb – Darren as you may have read in another post I am pleased to say that I have managed to convert a IKEA Sofa Bed so that has saved me loads of money.
I have also brought a CD which describes how to build one and I quite fancy buying a MIG Welder and having a go at building one.Might be a great Winter project for me.May 20, 2013 at 10:00 pm #117897hondatedParticipantThanks ofb – Darren as you
