    hi
    i have a powersource 1600 heater in my camper which only works sometimes.other times when i switch it on ,it clicks two times,starts to warm up and then cuts out.help please!!!

    I have this same heater installed in my van.
    As advised by Darren check the obvious, but you may also like to check your DC source (12V battery)has got enough voltage to provide a good spark to ignite the gas. But the problem normally is gas flow. The igniter has a few attempts and then if it cant find any gas will shut down the ignite process.
    I will try and find my instructions if you dont have any.

      thanks for the replys.it is a fairly recent problem.having the engine running wont make a difference,and batterys seem ok anyway.problem is not all the time.some time it works away fine!!!

    Is this a recent problem,
    Is this a recent problem, i.e. did it work fine before?
    Have you checked the obvious things, like gas supply is adequate?
