Leaking water from oil cooler

    Hi im a newbie here seeking some help from the people who do it best 🙂

    I have an 86 nissan urvan camper that is leaking water at the oil cooler housing. I have looked for a second hand one and even for a new one im looking at $350.

    Thing is can i just cut off the water from the oil cooler? Just to put a plate over the whole and sorted.
