Can anyone share experience installing leisure battery underneath the body.
My concern is the fitting, not sure what would be the best gear ?
    Thanks

I’ve been tempted to do this
I’ve been tempted to do this also. Saves a lot space, especially with multiple batteries, and solves the venting problem.
Most tipper truck type vehicles have the battery slung underneath, on the side of the chassis.
I guess the rain will eventually rot the metal fittings, but use of rust-free alloys will help a lot.
