    hi,ive got about£3000-£4000 to spend on a campervan obviously i be looking at an older one,so ive narrowed it down to a talbot or a fiat,it is for 2 of us we like a bit of space and want shower and uusual stuff in a camper so have ruled out a bambi,any other suggestions?which one is the better for cheap parts and reliabilty? any help would be nice.thanks

    If you’re looking at vehicles from around 1990 then the Fiat and Talbot vans are actually the same vehicle, with different names on.
    So little difference in terms of reliability and parts.
    The best thing to do is to have a really good look around and take you time. Wait until you find one that has done little miles (60,000) and has been very well looked after.
    This is the best way of ensuring you cost of ownership will be low.

        Ford Transits are reliable, but often suffer from rust.
        The old Mercedes square nose vans are very reliable, and hold their prices well.
        It’s generally cheaper to buy a vehicle that someone has converted themselves, rather than a professional conversion. So these are also worth looking at.
