hi all just got my van ldv convoy self build dont know any history but it looks like somebody put some effort into it gas hob oven 3 way fridge were would be the best place to have it tested is this called a habitation test the gas bottles are next to a vent grill in the side of the van any help please

The best place to have the habitation test is a motorhome or caravan dealer. Those with a service centre should be able to to that for you.

It’s fairly straightforward
It’s fairly straightforward to re-register a van as a campervan with the DVLA, as long as the vehicle meets the requirements. You can find the requirements and more on this page:
