Ex Ambulance MOT issue

Bought a ex ambulance Renault master 52 plate, had the work done for mot ready and it went in as Class 7 ….mot tester got back to me and said it’s too heavy at 3900kg when it should be 3500kg as per V5.

Any suggestions on how to fix this as i cant drive it above 3500kg, not even started the interior yet.

But the odd thing he said was to put a sink and bed in it and it’s class would change!!!??!?!?! But would not elaborate.

I believe it is tester as a class 4 it if is a campervan, rather than Class 7.
However, I don’t think this will change the weight restriction.
