Hello everyone,
I’m having an issue at the moment with a friend’s van (a 1996 4 berth Hymer Swing, I think its a 494). The shower unit in the bathroom seems to always trip the pump fuse on the control box under the passenger seat, however the trap in the kitchen area does not. The box suggests a 5A, but I tested it with a 10 and it still blew. Does anyone have any ideas where the short could be on this, is there a secondary pump maybe for the shower? Any help would be appreciated.August 2, 2016 at 10:35 am #114215DarrenGuestHi
HiThis is a strange issue. I would not expect a secondary pump, as a single pump is normally enough to power the entire vehicle.
Can you inspect all of the wires on the tap in the bathroom?
Does this tap have a microswitch, or is it a pressure activated pump?August 2, 2016 at 10:35 am #114217DarrenGuestHi
