    Does anyone know of any firm around the UK which breaks ‘vans, please. I’m looking for second hand items such as 12v ventilator fan, sinks etc.

    I have a Ford Fleetwood Bounder Mod 34J 1999 and am looking for some spares parts including OS wing mirror, Grey / Black water waste pipe (70mm int. dia. Flexible pipe). Shelving for both freezer and oven. If anyone can be of assistance with any of these parts, it would be very much appreciated.

    Visit any junk yard they can help and many a times they are also interested in modifying or breaking them for the parts. They offer cash money and you can get good deal out of it. Other serivces so offer but it might be hassled process better yet goto junk yard.

    Hi 

    i know some of us live way too far from each other but im in south yorkshire

    and there is a place in barnsley its a place called shaw lane once u get there

    quite a few breakers yard most of them ex buses which came in handy for such as 

    12v heaters  odd seat frames skylights exc……

    This company http://www.caravan-breakers.com/caravan-breakers-hartlepool.html sorted me some stuff a couple of months back when I needed some repairs doing, they are quick to reply if they have the bit’s, only they don’t reply if they have none (can be annoying when you expect a reply though I can see how much time it could waste.

      Hi,
      Do you happen to have a really small opening window? We need to cut one into an old m/home above the cab windows, which already take up most of the space. The maximum spaceavailable for the window is 7.5 inches high by up to 18 inches wide and that has to include the frame/outer edge! A bit of a long shot, I know but I thought I’d ask.

        i am having windows made atm for my motorhome,the company doing them is called eeko windows in halifax,they send a courier out to pick your old windows up and take 2 to three weeks to manufacture exact replicas,even copying tinted ones and then ship them back out to you,dont have the number to hand but they are on the net

        There is a ‘National Caravan Breakers’ at Llysfaen above Colwyn Bay, North Wales who advertises on Ebay.
        I walked around his unit last week. He says he breaks a van a day!
