Lake Garda (Sirmione especially), Verona, super working ampitheatre & ‘Juliet’s’ house.
Lake Como, beautiful towns, easy lake transport, narrow roads.
We stayed at Lake Como for a week this year as part of a 2500 mile round trip in VW T2 camper. Visited Mlan for the day. Was a waste of time. Not much to see & graffiti everywhere. Did see the last supper but you must book that in advance.(If this appears twice it’s cause I wrote Garda instead of Como. We stayed at lake Como for a week.

Hi Andrea,
So how did you find the trip? We’re planning to take our 3 year old to Italy in a camper for 8 weeks next April, so would be interested to hear your thoughts on driving a camper across Italy.
